Take time for yourself to heal
Osteopathy for Relaxation and Tension Release
We all know prevention is better than cure. Osteopathy can provide the ideal setting for you to unwind from everyday life and relax, allowing your body to release the stresses that have built up and supporting your wellbeing, naturally.

Now is the Time: Relax and Unwind with Osteopathy
Modern life moves quickly—but our bodies are still wired for movement, connection, and calm. We evolved to walk, stretch, and rest—not to sit for hours under constant pressure. As daily demands grow, it’s easy to lose touch with the rhythms that keep us well. Osteopathy helps restore that balance.
Through gentle, hands-on care and movement-focused support, we ease tension, release stored stress, and help your body reconnect with its natural state of wellbeing.
How often do we say “well I don’t feel stressed”, but when we take a step back and look in on our lives, we know that we are overdoing it?
It is usually in these cases that your achy shoulders, frequent headaches, recurrent episodes of back pain and tension in your jaw gives underlying stress in the body away. Your body is holding tension in joints, fascia and muscles, waiting for a safe space and time to release it. “The Body Keeps the Score” As Van Der Kolk, a Trauma specialist, aptly puts it.
Our osteopaths are well versed in managing more chronic conditions and generalised tensions, allowing your body the time and space to release during personalised treatments designed for you.
As well as Osteopathy, Cranial Osteopathy or Craniosacral Therapy is an extremely subtle but useful approach for treating tension and inability to relax. It is useful in adults of all ages as well as babies, children, and teens.
Everyone deserves some time for their body to release tension and remember how to relax….
even if you think you don’t have time right now… it’s probably when you need it most !
A Safe Space for You
We are experienced in supporting people through difficult and transitional times in their lives. Our kind and compassionate yet professional Osteopaths achieve the balance of holding the space during emotional times.
We provide a safe and relaxing space in which we attend and care for your body, meaning you are able to focus on the things that matter without discomfort and stress building up.
Confidentiality is paramount to our ethos. We do not share any details with other clients that you disclose to us, so even if we see family members, your session is wholly yours and rest assured we will protect your privacy.
Self-care is not selfish. You cannot serve from an empty vessel.
It is difficult when you have big life events going on to make time for yourself, it seems selfish and uncaring. However through self compassion practices and meditations, as well as connecting with your bodies through doing physical activities you enjoy, it is possible to reconnect with your own wellbeing.

what our patients say…
Very friendly and professional, safe environment and excellent treatment. I have had a wide variety of problems, all of which Tamsyn has helped me deal with and fix.
Ellie
. She has extensive knowledge - always having an explanation for the questions I would ask her about shoulder muscles, movements, how I might adapt my day to day activities, etc. I also found her to be helpful and sensitive for anyone with neurodivergent challenges 😊❤️🌈 Highly recommended ✅

What Is Cranial Osteopathy (& Does It Work?)
It’s gentle, non-invasive, and often used with babies – but cranial osteopathy is powerful for adults too. By working with the nervous system, it helps release deeply held tension and supports the body’s natural rhythm of healing.
Why Osteopathy Isn’t Just for Back Pain
Most people think of osteopathy for lower back pain – and yes, we treat that daily – but it can also support everything from tension headaches and jaw pain to digestive discomfort and postural imbalances. Osteopathy looks at how your whole body works together, not just isolated symptoms.
5 Signs Your Body’s Asking for Help
Aches that come and go. Stiffness first thing in the morning. Headaches after a long day at your desk. These niggles are your body’s way of waving a red flag. Don’t ignore them – early support can make all the difference.
